About SIA

Our members are Southern hospitality leaders from the finest resorts in the southern states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Washington DC.

In 1908, the organization was formed “to bring about a better acquaintance among the men of the hotel profession.” Today, our membership and industry have evolved and diversified as we provide resources for engagement and learning opportunities.

Active members of Southern Innkeepers are the visionary leaders of hospitality properties located within the geographic area of the above-listed states and Washington DC Allied Supplier members are individuals supplying products and services to the hotel industry.

Our values are to connect, engage, collaborate and exchange. We accomplish this through our brand promise to inspire, innovate and evolve.
