About SIA

Our members are Southern hospitality leaders from the finest resorts in the southern states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Washington DC.

SIA is proud to be the oldest hotel and lodging association in the US. Created in 1908, the organization was formed “to bring about a better acquaintance among the men of the hotel profession.” Today, our membership and industry have evolved and diversified as we provide resources for engagement and learning opportunities.

Our values are to connect, engage, collaborate and exchange. We accomplish this through our brand promise to inspire, innovate and evolve.  These values illuminate our programing, from our quarterly “Lessons in Leadership” webinars, informative news, to our crown jewel, our annual educational gathering.

Hotelier members of Southern Innkeepers are the visionary leaders and officials of hospitality properties and resorts located within the geographic area of the above-listed states and Washington DC.

Allied Supplier members are individuals supplying products and services to the hotel industry.
