What began when Sicilian cobbler Antonio Monteleone purchased a small hotel on Royal Street has evolved into one of the city's most celebrated and enduring destinations.

Today, Hotel Monteleone is proud to be recognized as a National Literary Landmark by the American Library Association and a member of Historic Hotels of America.
